Clinical interests: The Adult Epilepsy Program at University Hospital is a dynamic inpatient and outpatient service that provides neuropsychological assessment and consultation for adults and older adults with epilepsy. Referrals are requested by neurology to characterise cognitive strengths and weaknesses in patients with epilepsy to inform differential diagnosis, lateralize and localize cognitive dysfunction and correlate with neuroimaging investigations, and participate in treatment planning for surgical candidacy within an interprofessional team. Epilepsy patients often present with a wide array of developmental, medical, and psychiatric comorbidities, with their seizures arising from various etiologies (e.g., genetic, post-traumatic, congenital cortical abnormalities). I strive to incorporate research evidence to understand clinical presentations from a biopsychosocial lens within my clinical practice. I aim to infuse warmth, humility, and curiosity towards each unique individual and tailor my clinical approach to individual client characteristics.
