Clinical interests: Very broadly, my clinical interest is in adult mental health. Part of my practice is dedicated to working with military members, veterans, and first responders which means I do a lot of trauma-focused work. For this type of work, I use evidence-based trauma interventions with a strong emphasis on Prolonged Exposure, while also drawing on some Cognitive Processing Therapy strategies. The rest of my practice is working in general mental health where I typically work more integratively, with a foundation in person-centred therapy but implementing more skills based strategies from CBT and DBT where appropriate. With respect to assessment, I use evidence-based measures combined with clinical interviewing to assess DSM 5 psychological disorders.
