Clinical interests: I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families both clinically and forensically. I take an evidence-based approach to assessment and intervention, which means I must be able to draw on a wide range of theory and technique depending on the specific client presentation and situation. Much of my work involves juvenile and family courts: risk assessment, youth therapeutic court, parenting plan evaluations (formerly custody and access), parenting capacity assessments, mental health, FASD, ASD, LDs. I work with violent and sexual offending youth and high conflict personalities involved in separation and divorce. I also facilitate DBT skills groups and am a DBT therapist. All of the work is done from a trauma-informed and culturally informed stance.
