Clinical interests: I currently practice as a psychologist at the Operational Stress Injury Clinic at St. Joseph’s Healthcare London. My clinical practice includes psychological assessment and treatment interventions for active duty military/RMCP as well as Veterans with PTSD and other operational based mental health diagnoses. I also provide treatment of couples; concurrent disorders; suicidal behaviours; gender-based issues as well as military sexual trauma (MST). In my practice, I also facilitate group therapy for patients and focus on cognitive-behavioural Therapy with mindfulness skills. I have recently developed a CBT group for women patients who have experiences MST. My theoretical approach to assessment and intervention is trauma/feminist-informed evidence-based treatments and assessments. I have a strong focus on Cognitive-Behavioural Therapy, however, pull for other psychological treatment modalities if relevant.

Research interests: My research interests currently include clinical implications of military sexual trauma, gender-based discrimination and mental health, and suicidal behaviours amongst Canadian veterans diagnosed with PTSD. My research interests also include intergenerational trauma and culturally based treatment for Indigenous peoples. I am currently in the process of developing a qualitative research study that will explore the experiences of clinicians and patients in the care delivery of mental health and physical health care of Canadian service members who have experienced military sexual trauma (MST).
