Clinical interests: Clinically, I am interested in how complex neurodevelopmental presentations intersect with mental health problems, trauma, the criminal justice system, the education system, and interpersonal relationships. I take a trauma-informed, culturally sensitive, and evidence-based approach to my assessment and intervention work. I primarily work with high-risk/high trauma children and youth who may also have neurodevelopmental disabilities. I offer assessments for Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder, Learning Disabilities, Intellectual Disabilities, Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder, and Autism Spectrum Disorder. I conduct court-ordered assessments for youth justice including mental health and risk (i.e., general recidivism, risk of violence, risk of sexual re-offending). I accept psychotherapy referrals for internalizing problems (i.e., anxiety, depression, OCD, suicidal ideation, self-harm, and trauma), and externalizing problems (i.e., problems with emotion and behaviour regulation). I also offer family therapy and a social skills group for neurodiverse teens.
