Clinical interests: My clinical practice includes working with children, adolescents, adults, families, and parents. I provide assessment and treatment of individuals who present with a range of internalizing and externalizing difficulties. More commonly within the population I work with, there is comorbidity. The clinical issues that emerge include depression, anxiety, personality disorders, addiction issues, trauma, autism, ADHD, and LDs. Differential diagnoses and comprehensive case formulations are often required as part of identifying recommendations and treatment plans. A significant proportion of my patient population also present with gender dysphoria, for which I provide specialised assessment and treatment guided by evidenced based guidelines.

In keeping with the complexity of my patient population, I work within an integrative framework for both assessment and treatment. Treatment more often than not involves an integration of theoretical approaches including cognitive behavioural therapy, interpersonal psychotherapy, dialectical behaviour therapy, attachment based therapy and motivational interviewing and is conceptualized within a developmental, biopsychosocial model. As part of my clinical care, I collaborate with other professionals who may be part of the treatment team for my patients (e.g., endocrinologists, pediatricians, psychiatrists, etc.)

My clinical practice also includes consultation to professionals, particularly in the area of gender dysphoria
