Clinical interests: I conduct psychological assessment and treatment of patients referred for bariatric surgery. The service is fairly new and still in development and markedly affected by pandemic requirements of practice. I have been at my current position for the past 6 months. Currently, assessment and treatment are flexible and dependent on patients’ needs. Although the service is developing, the plan is to move towards a structured assessment and treatment outcome protocol based on best practice research for bariatric patients. We are even considering running virtual groups for post-bariatric patients.
