Therapist-assisted internet-delivered CBT: Optimizing implementation in routine care

Internet-delivered cognitive behavioural therapy (ICBT) has been found effective for various mental health problems (e.g., depression, generalized anxiety, alcohol problems) but many questions remain about how to optimize patient engagement, outcomes and implementation in clinical practice.

In this presentation, micro-learning health system research designed to optimize the reach, effectiveness, and implementation of ICBT in practice will be shared with specific attention to questions related to the amount and nature of therapist support. The objective of this seminar is to broadly increase knowledge of ICBT and its potential for expanding access to effective mental health care.
