Filing a Report with Campus Police

If you feel you are in immediate danger, please call 911.

Campus Police typically does not investigate matters of discrimination unless there are safety concerns, but they do investigate on-campus criminal harassment matters. Although not all instances of harassment are criminal, you may want to contact Campus Police if you feel your safety is being threatened or if you have any questions about an individual’s behavior that requires advice or guidance. For example, someone may contact Campus Police to report someone following them, threatening them or their loved ones, or watching their home or place of work.

Special Constables are available 24 hours a day and can be reached via the Campus Police Communications Centre (519-661-3300) or 911 from a campus telephone during emergencies). Once contacted, a Special Constable will be assigned to commence an investigation. In some circumstances, London Police Services may become involved in the investigation of a criminal harassment complaint (e.g., if the incident is particularly serious, if the harasser is not known to the victim, if the incident occurred off-campus).
