Abstract:

How do infants acquire their native language?  In our lab, we focus on the learning mechanisms that underlie successful language acquisition.  In my talk, I will focus on recent results, from both typically and atypically developing infants and children, that pinpoint powerful learning mechanisms supporting the acquisition of language and other complex systems.
