How do we use vision for perception and action?
Researchers in the Department of Psychology at Western University are seeking volunteers for an experiment to study how people use vision to perceive objects and perform hand actions (grasping or tool use). The experiment will take approximately one hour, and you will be compensated $10.
You can participate in this study if:
- Your age is between 18 and 55 years
- You are right-handed
- You have normal vision (contacts are fine) and no history of visual or neurological disorders
- You have no history of “lazy eye” and have normal depth perception
