Research Activities
My current research focuses on organizational leadership and its impact on subordinates’ attitudes and behavior in the workplace. In particular, my students and I have explored the ways in which leaders persuade others in their organizations to accept the leader’s vision and to participate enthusiastically in work projects. Studies have also addressed people’s reactions to different types of influence tactics as well as links between work values and job attitudes.
