Research Activities
There are five areas that are of primary interest to me in my present research program: (a) study of the determinants of accuracy and bias in observer judgments of personality; (b) assessment of personality variables as predictors of observable behaviors, including leadership; (c) analysis of the conceptualization and measurement of the construct called self-efficacy; (d) critical examination of the Five-Factor model of personality structure; and (e) evaluation of issues in personality assessment related to response styles and social desirability responding.
This program of research is supported by the Social Sciences and Research Council of Canada, Research Grant 410-2006-1795.
