August 4-18, 2013. CREATE CAN-ACT is sponsoring the 2013 Computational Sensorimotor Neuroscience (CoSMo) Summer School at Queen's University, Kingston Ontario. The summer school is organized by CREATE PI Gunnar Blohm and Konrad Kording at Northwestern. CREATE CAN-ACT trainees are strongly encouraged to attend and the workshop is open to other trainees who are interested in attending.
May 21, 2013: CREATE CAN-ACT is sponsoring a satellite workshop on Neuroscience Careers in Government and Industry in conjunction with the Canadian Association for Neuroscience meeting in Toronto.
March 8-11, 2013: CREATE CAN-ACT provided support for a Matlab Analysis Field Trip Workshop at York University.
September 26-27, 2012: CREATE CAN-ACT held a Retreat for PIs and Trainees at the Kingbridge Centre (North of Toronto). The retreat included a Professional Development Panel on Academic-Industrial Collaborations. In addition, trainees had an opportunity to present their research and provide the program with feedback.

August 7-21, 2011. Summer School in Computational Sensory-Motor Neuroscience (CoSMo 2011) at Queen’s University, Kingston Ontario. The summer school is organized by CREATE PI Gunnar Blohm and Konrad Kording at Northwestern and focusses on computational techniques integrating the multi-disciplinary nature of sensory-motor neuroscience through combined empirical-theoretical teaching modules.
February 10-12, 2011: CREATE CAN-ACT trainees and PIs met in St. Adele, Quebec at a joint conference for the Canadian Action and Perception Network (CAPnet) and the Canadian Physiological Society (CPS)
October 13, 2010: CREATE CAN-ACT held an inaugural retreat at the York University for the trainees and PIs to meet and discuss the direction of the program.
